Puppies chew naturally and it is best that they have
something of their very own that is safe for them to
chew on.
Our Chewz come as either whole antlers that
have all sharp points removed, or split antlers that
provide easier access to the marrow. We also
have Antler Cookiez for the little dogs in your
family. Dogs generally prefer the half antlers,
however the chewing time for halves is about 3
weeks versus approximately 3 months for whole
antlers of the same size.
After the natural process of shedding their antlers every spring, male elk grow another set.
These shed antlers are then collected and cut into different sizes for your dog. That’s it!
No dies, no preservatives, harmful chemicals, or taste enhancers are added. Dogs love
them the way nature created them.

Keep Your Dog Safe with Antler Chewz™
Like any dog chew, you do need to be careful when allowing your dog to chew on an
antler. The main concerns are breaking a tooth or choking on the antler chew. To prevent
these things from happening, be sure to supervise your dog's antler chewing. Do not
allow him to bear down forcefully with his molars on the antler chew and do not allow him
to chew on a piece that is of a size he could choke on. Dogs do need to chew and, since
every chew has its dangers, it is important to be as careful as you can while still allowing
your dog to chew. What you want to see is that the dog chews the antler and wears it
down very slowly. Most antlers will last your dog weeks or months. (This is certainly not
new news ... but just a reminder to keep your dog safe.)
The chewz are recommended by the dog's weight. The suggested size will provide the
maximum chewing time since antlers do need to be taken away when they become small
enough to no longer be safe for your dog.
